  2. For those Inspecting CCMs that report the completion of a boarding and inspection event, the existing event record must be updated to add the report for the “Boarding / Interrogation Occurred” status. 

    To update the event, first locate the original “Intent to Board” record on your Inspections Home page that was created for the intended inspection. Open the record by clicking on the link on the Inspection Date

Once the existing record is open, click the Edit button to begin updating the inspection details.

In the Edit view, change the Inspection Status to “Boarding / Interrogation Occurred. Complete all required fields, including the inspection date, time, coordinates, and the names of the authorized inspectors. Be sure to upload the completed boarding report and any relevant attachments.

  1. Interrogation Only Status  

If the inspection team conducted an interrogation, without physically boarding the vessel, this should be recorded using the “Boarding / Interrogation Occurred” status. 

When filling out the event form, tick the “Interrogation Only” checkbox to indicate that no boarding took place. Upload the completed interrogation report, complete all required fields, and then click Save to submit the record.
