Access the WCPFC website to add a new HSBI event at inspections.wcpfc.int.
User permissions are required for individual users and the relevant permission will differentiate between users of the Inspecting CCM and those with an involved with the inspected vessel, particularly the flag CCM:
To submit a High Seas Boarding and Inspection notification of Intent to board click the “Submit New HSBI Event Details” button as shown below. This will open a form where you can enter the relevant details for the boarding event, including inspection status, date, time, and any attachments, for example, a formal letter to the flag CCM.
In the dropdown list displayed below, choose “Intent to Board” as the inspection status.
Next, complete the required fields as shown in the image below and then click “Save” to submit the entry.
*NOTE: please use the estimated date and time in UTC
Once you click “Save”, the event will be stored and displayed in the event summary list (see image below).
To view the full details, click on the corresponding Inspection Date for the event — this will open the complete record.
The displayed record allows you to review and make edits to the event as needed. See the below image showing the “Edit” tab.
